Qualifications

  • CROR

Host railways expect CROR-qualified people for flagging, protection and work in the operating environment.

  • TIG

Inspection reports used for compliance and capital planning need to come from qualified inspectors.

  • eRailSafe

Without a current eRailSafe credential, crews cannot access many CN and other host-railway sites.

  • ISN

Procurement teams use ISNetworld scores to decide who is allowed on site.

  • A-Z licensed operators

Material moves and boom/float work on public roads require licensed operators, not just people who can run a machine on track.

Equipment used

  • Hi-rail vehicles

Put a crew and tools on the rail for inspection, maintenance and emergency work.

  • Boom trucks

Lift and place rail, ties, materials and components on the job.

  • Float trucks

Move machines and heavy railway materials between yards and job sites.
